Verses in Indigo

A visual exploration of my multicultural identity, integrating original photographs from India, Dubai, and NYC with poetry in Hindi, Arabic, and English. Each 7”x5” cyanotype print is an exposure of photographs, poetry, or botany, symbolizing healing, growth, and the passage from childhood to adulthood. The Hindi poems reflect existential realizations and the acceptance of life’s impermanence, the Arabic poems express nostalgia for childhood and longing for a mother’s presence, and the English poem brings the themes full circle with acceptance, loss, and renewal.
